Guided by our academic mentors, he enrolled in programming, algorithmic trading, and finance courses he had never taken as an undergraduate. These courses enhanced his resume for applications and equipped him with skills for technical interviews at trading firms. J.Li also received personalized coaching for behavioral interviews, resume crafting, and personal statement writing that highlighted his robust mathematics background while demonstrating his potential in quantitative finance. J.Li achieved successful admission to Georgia Tech's Quantitative and Computational Finance Master's Program.

W.H.(23’)began working towards a doctorate in his freshman year. He ambitiously enrolled in graduate-level courses and devoted his summers to economic research, with the aim of producing a graduate-level research paper featuring an original thesis. However, he recognized gaps in his preparation. Our academic mentors provided guidance in identifying key literature and research trends within his field of study, crafting research proposals and abstracts tailored for selection committees. They also pinpointed grants, scholarships, and awards that could support his summer research and enhance his resume. This comprehensive approach paid off when W.H. was ultimately accepted into Princeton University's top-ranked Ph.D. program in Economics and ten other top 30 programs.

Applying to college, S.M. (20’)feared that his chances might be undermined by the "generic Asian male" stereotype: he was a STEM student with dozens of AP courses, academic tournaments, and few hobbies outside of academics. Our mentors encouraged him to hold onto his dreams. They assisted him in identifying unique aspects of his character, extracurricular activities, and future ambitions, sculpting a distinctive persona that would resonate with admissions committees. Our mentors guided him through the application process for scholarships and grants, underlining his academic prowess and interest in specific fields. S.M. eventually gained admission to Columbia College, the undergraduate division of Columbia University, on a scholarship.

YY.H. (24’)was determined to pursue a legal career in Hong Kong. Upon discovering the exceptional career prospects offered by HKU, she aspired to join its highly esteemed Juris Doctor program, known for its exclusivity with less than 50 students per cohort. Under our mentors' guidance, YY.H. strategically selected her undergraduate courses to showcase her strengths in writing, logical reasoning, and legal acumen. She engaged in targeted internships and pre-law programs, demonstrating her dedication to the legal field. Coupled with a strong GPA and a meticulously crafted writing sample, YY.H secured her acceptance into the Juris Doctor program at the University of Hong Kong.
